A YCP info session is the first step to becoming a Collaborative Foster Parent.

What’s Next?

After completing the interest form:

  1. The YCP recruiter will contact you to complete a phone interview and an initial in-home assessment.

  2. Complete foster parent application and background checks

  3. Attend resource family trainings for 12 hours across 6 weeks

  4. Complete family evaluation and final home environment assessment to receive approval from the county

  5. Once approved, you can begin fostering!
